Does anyone have this working properly? I had things going fine with 1.0 of the game except that the field was just end zones all up and down. Basically, picture whatever graphic was in the endzone. It made it hard to pass. Now I updated to 1.02 and the whole field is just black.

Has anyone solved this issue?

I had the same issue, but i went back to 0.0.7-8650 and it runs the same really, but without the endone graphics everywhere, and the field being black is temporary, it will turn into normal... eventually

I have the same issue now on the latest build. That or the messed up graphics with black lines in some fields without roof, ones with roof have black lines, and some jerseys have lines from other parts of the jersey on it.

I have the graphics working perfectly using the attached settings. The key to fixing the endzones being distorted is the Vsync setting.

RPCS3 Version: 0.0.7-8771-41050c43 Alpha

I haven't upgraded past this version due to freezing issues on NCAA Football 12 and 13. All versions of the game seem to work with this version of RPCS3.

Hello. I'm new to the emulation and RPCS3 scene, and I have a few questions. Firstly, I seem to have gotten the game to run smoothly, except for when the ball is in play. I still manage to get roughly 35 FPS, but the speed of the game itself slows down significantly. I read in other parts of the forums that this could be due to my CPU not meeting the demands of the physics threads. This leads me to my second question. Like others have mentioned in this thread, the in-game audio crackles a ton. The music in the loading screens work, and the famous "EA Sports, it's in the game" sound clip sounds fine, but as soon as the football game starts, the sound starts to crackle. Is this also due to my CPU not being able to handle the physics/audio threads as well? I understand that I won't be able to run the game at 4K with these specs, but I figured I'd be able to at least run the game at 720p respectably.

Thank you.

Specs:

i5 6500 3.20 GHz

GTX 960 4GB

8 GB RAM

In your first screenshot, nothing is selected for Firmware Settings? How?

I have confirmed that the PS3 firmware was imported correctly. In fact, I just uploaded the latest PS3 firmware. Not sure why none of the firmware settings are selected. I have never checked any of the boxes.

RPCS3-v0.0.7-8981
Intel i9 9900K
16 GB 3000MHz DDR4
NVIDIA RTX 2080 (Driver 436.48)

Glad to confirm that the game is playable. As you can see in this video, most significant visual bugs are fixed:

Never dipped below 45 fps (except where the scene is locked to 30, but that is to be expected). As you can see a few short months ago, performance was pretty bad (dips under 15 fps at points in this video:

One issue left is that during day games, the field will be rendered as black. This doesn't affect night games in my experience. I will create an official issue for this on the github soon enough.

First off, I'm new here and want to say thanks to everyone for working on this. I'm excited to play NCAA again!

The game is running very well for me so far. I am having two graphical issues though.

1) Logos on the field will fully render where they should be, but also partially render in random other places on the field. (Parts of the gator head show up at the 30 yd line, etc).

https://imgur.com/Cj8rMhO

2) The jerseys render in weird ways sometimes. I think it depends on the camera angle though.

I've tried playing with the emulator settings, but I don't know much about them. Strict Rendering Mode didn't solve the issue. Any ideas?
